Avocado is very popular on Keto diet and I always try to find new ways to eat this delicious fruit. Recently, I had bacon that was expiring soon and avocados that will become too ripe in a day. Both ingredients are low in carbs, so I decided to create a Keto friendly avocado recipe.
I cut avocado in half, removed the pit, cut the halves in wedges, wrapped them in bacon and pan-fried them on a ghee butter. OMG – they turned out so delicious!

TIPS: I do recommend using avocado that is not too ripe. Otherwise, it will fall apart when you try to wrap bacon around avocado wedge. Start frying Avocado & Bacon Wraps on the side where bacon ends, this way you’ll be able to seal the wraps together, preventing them from falling apart as you rotate the wedges to fry on every side.

Keto Appetizer: Avocado & Bacon Wraps
Delicious pan-fried Keto appetizer idea that offers new avocado taste.
- 2 Avocados Makes 12 avocado wedges
- 12 Strips of Bacon
- 1 tbsp Organic Ghee Butter
Wash and cut each avocado in half, remove the pit and make 3 avocado wedges from each half of an avocado. You should end up with 12 wedges (6 per each avocado)
Wrap bacon strips around each avocado wedge and place on the prep plate with bacon's end side down.
Heat up pan on high with organic ghee butter.
Place wraps with bacon's end side down on the frying pan to seal the edge, preventing it from unwrapping.
Fry each side of the wrap until cooked.
Place fried wraps on a plate and let it cool down or eat while hot.
